FIFA 2011 Demo

Hello Guy, and welcome to PC Games Fifa 2011.

Unfortunately, EA Sports don't give a damn about the PC. What do we have? No Fight Night, no Tiger Woods, no nothing as far as EA Sports goes, only a pathetically watered down version of Fifa 11.

Do yourself a favour and buy FIFA 2010.

Look at the 'feedback' section - PC prefix and that's under the general FIFA section, not the 'NG' one. No PC feedback section. It says it all, I'm afraid.

A Reader review at Gamespot

My review will focus on the be a Pro Mode. Well, it starts out fine and all, you get to either create your own character or play as one of the players featured in the club you choose. Now, first, it starts out pretty fun and all, you get to play in international matches, play for your country and you get to move on to captain your club/international squad.

But heres whats missing. You will notice that during gameplay the opposition teams manager will constantly make substitutes, while your teams starting eleven and ending eleven forever remain the same, which is ridiculous. The time where your team makes substitues, is when you make the decision, and the only time you can make the decision is to become captain (so my question here is, what happened to the manager). In addition, at the start theres this hype with the 2011 worldcup, telling you that you get to be part of the international squad and get to play if you do well for your country in matches. HOWEVER, you will not get to play in those matches, all you get is a news feed of you during the play which describes you "shining" for your country. Real letdown. And at the end of the season, there are no offers to buy you, you cant move to another club if you wanted to, and you cant repersonalize your character (e.g change his celebration style)

You want to put yourself on the pitch? FIFA 2011 is your man, even more so than for normal football gaming. It's far deeper (you start as a rookie kid and can go all the way to mid thirties, picking up Player of the year, World/European Player of the Year, as well as all the leagues/cups from certain countries. Oh and you can play in the World Cup/European Championships as well (at least you could in FIFA 2011, so I doubt if they'll change it that much).
